Senior Application Developer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Application Developer for our client in the insurance sector in Nyon.

In Short

• Analyze business needs, processes, and technical environment
• Define functional and non-functional requirements (security, performance, availability)
• Design data models, functions, and objects
• Develop and maintain applications, modules, and software interfaces
• Implement and maintain robust software solutions
• Manage development and test environments
• Participate in integration testing and production deployment
• Document technical and functional solutions
• Fix production errors and handle change requests

Requirements

• Degree in computer science or equivalent training
• Proven experience (min. 5 years) in software development and application engineering
• Mastery of software architectures and data management/data engineering principles
• Good knowledge of the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
• Excellent methodological skills (analysis, modeling, design, documentation)
• Autonomy, analytical mindset, sense of responsibility, and teamwork skills
• Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) required
• Knowledge of German is an advantage
