Senior Project Manager - Secure Access Architecture - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and open-minded Senior Project Manager (Secure Access Architecture) for our client in the transport sector in Bern. The client is currently implementing a strategically significant project to establish a modern Secure Access Architecture that sustainably strengthens the IT security landscape and effectively addresses future cyber threats.

In Short

• Responsible for overall project management including planning, organization, budget, and quality
• Preparation of decision documents and conducting meetings, steering committees, and executive boards
• Coordination of activity planning in close collaboration with the Scrum Master
• Document, risk, change, and quality management
• Definition and prioritization of strategic epics/features in collaboration with architecture, business, and leadership
• Evaluation of epics/features regarding business value, technical requirements, and feasibility
• Close coordination with product managers, system architects, and release train engineers
• Management of dependencies between teams and ARTs
• Continuous and targeted communication to relevant stakeholders
• Collaboration with the project architect regarding architecture, planning, and coordination with the client

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as an Epic Owner or IT Project Manager in complex projects
• Completed degree (Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or similar)
• Certifications such as Prince2 or PMP are an advantage
• Solid knowledge in SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, Lean Portfolio Management; proficient in using Jira & Confluence
• Experience in the railway sector is an advantage
• Know-how in Zero Trust or Cyber Security architectures is a plus
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills including moderation/mediation
• Experience in managing large, strategic initiatives
• Analytical-conceptual thinking combined with a pragmatic 'hands-on' mentality
• Very good German and English skills
