As a Senior Database Administrator, you will play a key role in optimizing database performance and ensuring the integrity and security of our database systems.

In Short

Collaborate with development teams to optimize database performance.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex database issues.
Manage critical database backups and recovery models.
Implement and maintain database access and security protocols.
Conduct database performance tuning and maintenance.
Oversee database installations and upgrades.
Develop and maintain documentation of standard processes.
Work with Product Development to identify performance issues.
Develop long-term strategies for database architecture.
Establish performance benchmarks and conduct regular reviews.

Requirements

12+ years of experience in Database Technologies.
Experience with Microsoft SQL, Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB.
Provisioning and supporting databases on Azure and AWS.
Skilled at optimizing SQL statements.
Proficient in Scripting.
Experience in troubleshooting database problems.
Solid SQL Performance Tuning skills.
Experience in Database Installs, Upgrades, and Monitoring.
Excellent communication skills.
Mentoring experience with a team of DBAs.
