General Ledger Accountant - Remote

Overview

The General Ledger Accountant will manage and maintain accurate accounting records for Veeam across the EMEA region, requiring strong technical accounting knowledge and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

In Short

• Perform daily bank reconciliations across multiple accounts.
• Handle fixed assets accounting, including allocation and depreciation.
• Oversee monthly payroll reviews and reconciliations.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare reports reconciling US GAAP accounts with local requirements.
• Lead year-end audits and ensure compliance with deadlines.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and VAT processes.
• Provide reports and analysis as required by management.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CMA) are an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of general ledger accounting experience.
• At least 4 years of accounting experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong understanding of KSA local accounting standards.
• Advanced English (written and verbal).
• Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
