General Ledger Accountant - Remote

Overview

Brave is looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join our team ASAP!

In Short

• Primarily responsible for all Accounts Payables including entering bills and syncing transactions.
• Reconcile credit cards and bank transactions to monthly statements.
• Process expense report reimbursements and ensure syncing with accounting system.
• Manage customer invoicing and Accounts Receivable.
• Month end close functions for balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with external audit requests.
• Support financial reporting and analysis as required.
• Assist in global tax compliance.
• Perform ad hoc tasks including system implementation and accounting policy development.
• Remote position with occasional onsite work in SF office.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, CPA desired.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Knowledge of financial reporting.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws regarding accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, Bill.com) and Microsoft Excel.
• International accounting experience.
• At least 5 years’ experience in an accounting role.
• Combination of large company and startup experience preferred.
• Must be a self-starter with minimal supervision.
