Overview

As a senior full stack AI platform engineer at Vanta, you will play a crucial role in shaping Vanta’s AI offerings, improving our systems, and setting technical strategy for our end-to-end ML/AI architecture.

In Short

• Team up with product engineering teams to design and implement AI-powered features.
• Work closely with other engineers to understand their pain points in AI development.
• Design, build, and improve AI infrastructure and tooling.
• Make effective tradeoffs considering business priorities and user experience.

• Mentor junior team members.
• At least 5 years of industry experience as a software engineer.
• Experience designing, building, and scaling full-stack applications.
• Experience using GenAI or applied ML.
• Comfortable operating up and down the stack.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with full-stack applications, backend systems, APIs, and frontend interfaces.
• Experience with GenAI or applied ML.
• Understanding of improving ML systems.
• Comfortable with frontend, API, backend, and database.
• Experience in rapidly scaling startups and large companies.
• Action-driven and user-focused.
