Senior Software Platform Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer at Patlytics, you will contribute to both infrastructure and backend API development, implementation, and maintenance of Patlytics’ core systems.

In Short

• Design, implement and maintain scalable, highly available infrastructure and application deployment process
• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend APIs
• Optimize API performance, scalability, and reliability
• Automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of infrastructure
• Collaborate with development teams for efficient CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor and optimize infrastructure and application performance
• Develop internal SLOs and SLIs for system reliability

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in public cloud environment (AWS preferred)
• Strong proficiency in backend API development using Python
• Expert in containerization technologies (e.g., k8s, ECS, Docker)
• Expert in infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet)
• Production experience in system design and virtual cloud implementation
• Experience with RESTful API design principles and API documentation tools
• Strong sense of ownership and project management skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate
