Engineering Manager, Developer Experience - Remote

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Developer Experience team. This team is dedicated to creating and optimizing tools and infrastructure that empower our developers to deliver high-quality software efficiently. A key focus of this role is to integrate AI-driven solutions to enhance developer workflows and experiences.

In Short

• Manage and mentor a team of engineers focused on developing world-class developer productivity tools and infrastructure.
• Define and implement strategies for developer environments, source control, continuous integration (CI), test infrastructure, and release processes.
• Drive the adoption and integration of AI tools designed to enhance developer productivity.
• Stay abreast of emerging AI technologies and assess their applicability in streamlining development processes.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand developer needs and implement solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AI-enhanced tools.
• Design and refine processes that enhance team operations and improve developer productivity.
• Champion best practices for developer support tooling.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing technical teams of six or more engineers.
• Proven track record in building and improving development workflows and tools.
• Experience in integrating AI tools to enhance developer productivity is highly desirable.
• Deep knowledge of modern development practices, including source control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts as they apply to developer tools.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience in hiring and mentoring senior engineers.
• Excellent communication skills to build consensus with stakeholders.
