Overview

As the Director of Engineering for Core Platform at Vanta, you will lead and grow a dynamic engineering organization focused on evolving and scaling the engineering systems & infrastructure that enable Vanta’s developers to create great products.

In Short

• Lead multiple teams to deliver results consistently and sustainably.
• Identify, define, and lead strategic initiatives in developer productivity.
• Partner with engineers & leaders to create foundational building blocks.
• Guide technical strategy aligned with Vanta’s business priorities.
• Build a high-impact engineering team and coach managers.

• Own and maintain Vanta’s FedRAMP authorization from an engineering perspective.

Requirements

• 8+ years of engineering leadership experience.
• Experience leading & scaling engineering organizations of 35+.
• Passion for leading and building inspired teams.
• Business acumen with platform principles for innovation.
• Strong decision maker balancing ambiguity and quality.
• Effective communicator and story-teller.
• Ability to operate at multiple altitudes from vision to execution.
