Overview

Valsoft is seeking a talented M&A Leader to drive global expansion by building relationships with software business owners and executing the due diligence process for acquisitions.

• Identify M&A targets that align with Valsoft’s growth objectives.
• Employ a proactive approach in reaching out to potential targets.
• Evaluate and assess target acquisitions against criteria.
• Conduct comprehensive pre-acquisition due diligence.
• Negotiate deal terms to achieve significant acquired revenues.
• Manage and deploy large capital rapidly.
• Potential to build and manage an M&A team in the future.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Strong interpersonal skills for relationship building.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Investment banking, private equity, M&A, or corporate development.
• Strong financial analysis skills, including building financial models.
• CFA or CIIA is a plus.
• Familiarity with buy and build model and software knowledge is an asset.
• Growth mindset with a thirst for learning.
• Entrepreneurial mindset capable of navigating challenges.
• Ability to build long-term relationships.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
