Overview

The Account Executive is responsible for generating new business opportunities and acquiring new logos in the education technology sector. Ideal candidates are proactive self-starters who thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and are passionate about solving problems for clients with a consultative, value-based sales approach. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for prospecting, engaging, and closing new revenue opportunities, working independently to drive Kivuto’s growth. This position requires travel to meet with prospects and attend industry events as necessary.

In Short

  • Hunt and close new business opportunities across assigned regions and market segments.
  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying leads to negotiating contracts and closing deals.
  • Drive new revenue growth by understanding client pain points.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline through outbound prospecting.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver best-in-class client experiences.
  • Regularly update and maintain CRM data for accurate forecasting.
  • Represent Kivuto at conferences and client meetings, requiring occasional travel.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings.
  • Achieve or exceed performance targets related to pipeline generation.
  • Fulfill any other duties to contribute to the team's success.

Requirements

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in business development, preferably in EdTech.
  • Proficient in CRM tools, such as Salesforce.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Understanding of the education sector and its challenges.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Passion for technology and education.
