Tax Analyst - Remote

Overview

USALCO, LLC is looking to hire a Tax Analyst to support the company’s robust growth plan in the potable and industrial water/wastewater treatment chemistry industry.

In Short

• Support tax operations to ensure compliance, accuracy, and audit readiness.
• Manage processes and reporting for federal, state, and local tax compliance.
• File returns with State & Local Governments for various taxes.
• Act as primary contact with third-party tax specialists for tax return preparation.
• Gather and validate financial information for tax calculations.
• Work with Corporate Controller & VP Finance for payment authorizations.
• Manage property & other tax accrual processes in General Ledger.
• Assist with audits and maintain compliance documentation.
• Track evolving regulations and mitigate risks.
• Lead process improvements for timely and error-free filings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or similar discipline.
• 1-2+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• General knowledge of Federal, State, and Local Tax requirements.
• Experience with government/regulatory agencies.
• Excellent analytical, organization, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• CPA or actively pursuing is a plus.
