Tax Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Tax Analyst is responsible for providing indirect tax compliance support relating to global GST/VAT and other taxes as required for all jurisdictions in which Envato operates.

In Short

• Generate indirect tax-related reports and prepare data for indirect tax return filing.
• Compile indirect tax return, seek return approval and lodge it.
• Review Tax Authority statements and reconcile them against internal reports/accounts.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
• 2 - 3 years experience in an office environment.
• Indirect Tax experience is desirable but not essential.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Intermediate computer literacy and Excel knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional teamwork.
• Excellent English and Spanish communication skills.

Requirements

• Academic degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Tax law, or equivalent experience.
• 2 - 3 years experience working in an office environment.
• Indirect Tax experience is desirable but not essential.
• High attention to detail and demonstrated ability to meet multiple competing deadlines.
• Intermediate level of computer literacy and Excel knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well on a cross-functional team.
• Excellent English and Spanish in both written and verbal communication.
