In Short

• Manage multiple priorities in a high-volume position with a focus on customer service.
• Maintain working knowledge of surplus lines tax regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and document all correspondence.
• Build positive working relationships with clients and the organization.
• Assist in directing team members for compliance with tax filings.
• Support the Team Lead with ad hoc requests and projects.
• Timely complete state regulatory surplus lines tax filings.
• Reconcile filings and investigate issues during the filing process.
• Organize tasks efficiently to meet deliverables.
• Assist with surplus lines audits and compliance reviews.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of filing experience, or 3+ years of accounting or compliance experience.
• Surplus lines knowledge is a plus.
• Intermediate skills in Excel or other spreadsheet software.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to take initiative and act decisively.
