Overview

As a Data Engineer at Envato, you will build, deploy, and support data solutions that enable accurate and timely analytics across the company, integrating data from various sources and managing the common data infrastructure.

In Short

• Analyse business requirements to deliver robust, technical data solutions
• Write high-quality, well-tested code and deploy it regularly to production
• Support production systems by investigating, diagnosing, and resolving issues
• Integrate data from a variety of internal and external sources
• Actively monitor, performance tune, and improve data solutions and pipelines
• Collaborate with Analytics Engineers and Analysts for accurate reporting

Requirements

• 3+ years in backend software development, with a focus on data
• Hands-on experience with data warehouses like Redshift or Snowflake
• Understanding of data engineering fundamentals
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and AWS
• Practical knowledge of server-side programming (Python)
• Clear communicator who collaborates effectively
• Proven collaborator with technical and non-technical stakeholders
