In Short

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain automated data processing pipelines using Google Cloud.
• Implement and maintain databases and data storage solutions.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and completeness.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts.
• Monitor and maintain data infrastructure for availability and performance.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in big data.
• Implement data governance policies and procedures.
• Support data ingestion, ETL, and storage.

Requirements

• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Knowledge of a programming language (Python ideally).
• Ability to design and optimise data models.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience in data governance and quality assurance.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills.
• Willingness to work on-site at least 60% of the time.
