Tax Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Tax Analyst position at Cengage Group involves assisting the tax team with preparing U.S. federal and state income tax returns and tax provisions, while also researching tax issues and assisting with tax planning projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 0 to 5 years of tax compliance experience.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to multitask.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with OneSource tax software is preferred.
• Knowledge of tax research software is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Initiative to learn and build new skills.
