Tax Analyst - Remote

Overview

As a Tax Analyst at Deel, you will contribute to the success of our global tax function by analyzing complex tax data, supporting compliance and reporting efforts, and helping drive forward our strategic initiatives.

In Short

• Extract and analyze tax-related data to support compliance, planning, and reporting.
• Design and maintain dashboards and reports tracking key tax metrics.
• Build tax forecast models for strategic business decisions.
• Automate data flows and reporting processes.
• Develop internal controls for compliance with global tax policies.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Legal, and Product teams.
• Translate complex tax data into actionable insights.
• Contribute to global tax planning and reporting initiatives.
• Monitor evolving tax regulations.
• Identify opportunities to streamline tax data workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
• Advanced degrees (JD, MBA, or Master’s in Taxation) are a strong plus.
• Prior experience in tax, accounting, or financial analysis.
• Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills.
• Familiarity with BI or data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable operating across different geographies and regulatory environments.
