Remote Medical Inpatient Coder

Overview

The Remote Medical Inpatient Coder will be responsible for applying appropriate ICD-10 and PCS procedure codes for coding, billing, and regulatory compliance in a flexible remote work environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• US Citizenship required.
• 2 years of inpatient medical coding experience.
• CPC, CCS, RHIT, or RHIA certification required.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Experience with coding clinics ICD-10-CM and PCS.
• Willingness to maintain professional credentials.
• Associates Degree is a plus.
