Remote Medical Inpatient Coder

Overview

As a Remote Medical Inpatient Coder, you will be responsible for applying appropriate ICD-10 and PCS procedure codes for coding, billing, and compliance, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to coding guidelines.

• Apply ICD-10 and PCS codes for inpatient medical coding.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• 2 years inpatient medical coding experience.
• CPC, CCS, RHIT or RHIA Certification.
• Experience with EPIC, Cerner, or similar systems preferred.
• Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, and Medical Terminology.
• Willingness to maintain professional credentials.
• Associates Degree is a plus.
