Overview

The Remote Pro Fee Coding Quality Reviewer is responsible for reviewing medical record documentation and coding accuracy while working remotely.

In Short

• Access and review medical record documentation.
• Ensure coding accuracy using ICD-10 CM, CPT, and HCPCS systems.
• Conduct reviews via facility EMR and scanning technology.
• Report to the Pro Fee Quality Review Supervisor.
• Must hold relevant coding credentials.
• 3+ years of medical coding or review experience required.
• Willingness to undergo a Federal Background Check.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed.
• Position is 100% remote.
• Annual salary range is $46,000.00 - $76,000.00.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Hold one of the following credentials: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, CIC, COC.
• Maintain coding credential while employed.
• 3+ years of medical coding or review experience.
• Abide by client policies and procedures.
