Remote Medical Coder - Multispecialty Outpatient

Overview

The Remote Medical Coder will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of medical records and coding of data from medical records, ensuring accurate clinical information for compliant reimbursement of patient care services.

• CPC, CCS, RHIT, or RHIA certification required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of prior relevant medical coding experience.
• CPC, CCS, RHIT, or RHIA Certification required.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Experience with EPIC, Cerner, Next Gen, Allscripts is preferred.
• Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, and Medical Terminology.
• Associates Degree is a plus.
