Requirements

• 1 year of medical coding experience required.
• Associate's degree or higher in relevant fields or equivalent certifications.
• Certifications from AAPC or AHIMA are required.
• Experience with MHS Genesis is preferred.
• Ability to achieve and maintain coding productivity and accuracy standards.
• Knowledge of coding systems including CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-CM.
• Documentation review and code assignment skills.
• Willingness to pursue multiple certifications.
• Must demonstrate dedication to excellence.
• Strong communication skills.
