Coder - Outpatient - Remote

Overview

This position involves performing thorough medical record reviews to abstract medical and demographic data, applying diagnoses and procedures utilizing ICD and CPT coding systems, and assisting in managing accounts receivable.

Requirements

• Successful completion of coding courses in anatomy and physiology.
• 1 year of experience in hospital or physician coding.
• Ability to work with healthcare team members.
• Certifications like RHIT, RHIA, CCS-P, CCA, CPC, or COC preferred.
• Associate's Degree in Health Information Management preferred.
