• Perform accurate code assignments and assist coders with questions.
• Conduct SMART reviews.

Requirements

• AHIMA or AAPC (CPC, CIC, COC) certification.
• Minimum of three years’ recent inpatient coding experience.
• Experience mentoring coders and performing SMART audits.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding.
• Familiarity with MS DRG Coding Classification Systems.
• Proficiency with office software including Outlook and Excel.
• Reliable and punctual attendance required.
