Overview

The Field Applications Specialist for Genomics will support the Genomics business in Iberia, focusing on both Human Diagnostics and Molecular Biology Research sales organizations.

In Short

• Support sales organization in reaching quotas.
• Implement pre-sales initiatives with revenue focus.
• Deliver technical demonstrations and training on Genomics products.
• Act as a scientific consultant for customers.
• Maintain up-to-date scientific knowledge on Genomics products.
• Participate in New Product Introductions and provide customer feedback.
• Represent Agilent at scientific congresses and seminars.
• Travel up to 50% within Iberia.
• Work with a professional team of Field Applications Scientists.

Requirements

• PhD in Molecular Biology or related fields.
• Extensive laboratory experience with NGS solutions.
• Strong background in Bioinformatics and big data analysis.
• Experience in Human Genetics and clinical data interpretation is a plus.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Passion for sharing scientific knowledge.
• Flexibility to travel frequently.
