Uplight is creating a new category of energy, making software that manages energy resources in homes and businesses to generate, shift, or save energy to balance the grid, making it more efficient and reliable.

In Short

• Manage complex, large-scale implementation projects for customers in the energy industry.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and conduct regular status calls.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues.
• Collaborate with Sales on pricing strategy and product offerings.
• Serve as the technical lead in customer meetings.
• Understand customer energy goals and operational constraints.
• Develop statement of work documents and change orders.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Review architecture and scope for proposals.
• Use data analytics to transform energy needs into project requirements.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Engineering or related field plus 5 years of experience.
• Alternatively, Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of experience.
• 5 years of project delivery in distributed energy resources.
• 5 years in the energy or utility industry managing customer relationships.
• 5 years developing proposals and cost estimation in the energy industry.
• 5 years using data analytics to identify trends in the energy industry.
• 3 years using solar, battery, and energy management systems.
• Knowledge of energy demand load forecasting.
