Occupational Safety Coordinator - Remote

Overview

The Occupational Safety Coordinator is primarily responsible for construction safety, fire and life safety codes, and regulatory compliance for the entire UAMS system.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Safety or related field or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of codes and standards relevant to safety.
• Ability to follow oral instructions and read/write effectively.
• Experience in occupational health and safety preferred.
• Initial HAZWOPER training will be provided if needed.
• Annual refresher training for HAZWOPER is required.
• Strong decision-making skills required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Physical activity includes frequent movement and occasional sitting.
• Must have strong communication skills.
