Overview

The Health & Safety Coordinator at Terra-Gen is responsible for overseeing occupational safety and health performance for renewable energy facilities, ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures while promoting a culture of safety.

In Short

• Oversee health and safety performance at assigned locations.
• Implement and monitor safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and support operations teams.
• Deliver training and maintain EAPs for staff.
• Investigate incidents and classify injuries according to OSHA definitions.
• Communicate effectively with management and safety committees.
• Facilitate safety culture and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Support operations with safety program administration.
• Travel to various facilities as required.
• Maintain incident documents and analyze safety trends.

Requirements

• 5+ years of health & safety experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and electrical safety.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel.
• Experience in incident reporting and emergency response.
• Ability to conduct safety training and inspections.
• Valid CA driver's license with a good driving record.
• First Aid, CPR, AED certification preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
