SCADA Systems Engineer - Remote

Overview

The SCADA Systems Engineer will serve as a member of the SCADA & IT team and will be primarily responsible for configuring, testing and maintaining enterprise level systems such as Terra-Gen’s Monarch EMS/SCADA system and enterprise historian. They will collaborate with the operations team to resolve daily technical issues and serve as technical experts to enhance the organization's technical capabilities.

• Design and maintain SCADA signal databases and control logic.
• Develop and test SCADA screen graphics and dashboards.
• Collaborate with teams to gather site-specific requirements.
• Create and maintain project documentation.
• Ensure SCADA implementations meet control requirements.
• Identify deficiencies in SCADA and EMS systems.
• Perform system maintenance tasks.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience with utility or renewable EMS and SCADA systems.
• Knowledge of SCADA engineering principles.
• Working knowledge of OSI Monarch EMS and SCADA.
• Knowledge of industrial automation protocols.
• Proficient in programming languages.
• Experience with SCADA database structures.
• Experience with enterprise historians.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
