Environmental Compliance Supervisor - Remote

Overview

Terra-Gen is a growing developer and operator of renewable energy facilities. Reporting to the Director of Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance, this full-time hybrid position is responsible for overseeing environmental and air compliance across the company’s construction and operational projects.

In Short

• Lead company-wide environmental compliance policies and programs.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders including federal, state and local agencies.
• Oversee environmental training programs.
• Maintain organized compliance records and paperwork.
• Responsible for environmental due diligence for project financing.
• Monitor changes in environmental laws and regulations.
• Manage consultants providing environmental compliance support.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide training.
• Lead Incident Command System (ICS) and emergency response trainings.
• Identify compliance concerns and implement corrective action plans.

Requirements

• Self-directed and detail-oriented, effective in a team environment.
• Must reside in California, preferably Southern California.
• Experience conducting inspections with regulators.
• Experience with CUPA programs and hazardous materials.
• Knowledge of EPA’s Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure Rule.
• Experience with HAZMAT Standards.
• Proficient in computer use for virtual and field work.
• Experience with various regulatory agencies.
