Remote Executive Director of Financial Aid

Overview

This senior-level management position will assist the VP of Financial Aid and Corporate Office in ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local reporting requirements. This position is the subject matter expert in Title IV and student financing, ensuring policies and procedures are maintained for all Financial Aid processes.

In Short

• Supervise Financial Aid Regionals, Repackaging and Specialty Teams.
• Ensure compliance with Title IV regulations and other applicable federal and state laws.
• Monitor financial aid packaging rates and compliance.
• Prepare for compliance audits and reviews.
• Contribute to strategic planning initiatives.
• Manage aspects of EP and Anthology (SIS).
• Field calls and emails regarding regulatory questions.
• Attend required annual conferences/webinars/trainings.
• Manage annual reporting requirements.
• Special projects for VP of FA.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree Required; Master’s Degree preferred.
• 7+ years of Financial Aid experience.
• Proficiency in financial aid software; SIS/CampusVue experience preferred.
• Management experience required.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
• Expert knowledge of Title IV regulations.
• Cal Grant experience.
