Executive Director of Operations, Finance - Remote

Overview

The Executive Director of Operations, Finance is responsible for overseeing budget, finance, accounting, and billing processes for the VP Operations entities, ensuring compliance and financial performance.

In Short

• Lead development of annual and long-range operating budgets.
• Prepare financial forecasts and analyze budget variances.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
• Oversee year-end financial close processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years of work experience in finance/accounting.
• College degree in a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience in higher education preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis and budgeting.
• Proficient in recharge administration and compliance practices.
• Strong leadership and staff development skills.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly.
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities.
• Professional certifications preferred (CFA, CPA, CFE).
