Director of Operations & Finance - Remote

Overview

Veda Tech Labs is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Director of Finance and Operations to manage internal operations, financial coordination, and compliance across our entities.

In Short

• Manage internal operations and financial coordination.
• Work closely with the COO to ensure smooth business operations.
• Coordinate with external accountants for accurate bookkeeping and payroll.
• Track expenses, forecast cash flows, and support financial reporting.
• Ensure tax registrations and filings are up to date.
• Collaborate to establish and document internal processes and policies.
• Maintain internal data rooms and operational checklists.
• Liaise with legal counsel on contract execution and compliance reviews.
• Support entity formation and state registrations.
• Coordinate team access to tools and systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years experience in operations, finance, or administrative roles.
• Familiarity with U.S. state tax registration and filing processes.
• Strong experience managing accountants and vendors.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort with async workflows and remote team dynamics.
