Regional Operations Manager - South - Remote

Overview

The Regional Operations Manager will oversee the operational management and business development of Avantor Services in the Southern Region of Ireland, ensuring high-quality service delivery and team management.

In Short

• Manage overall operations and business development for customer sites in Southern Ireland.
• Coordinate health & safety, training, and compliance for on-site teams.
• Set and review KPI metrics to ensure performance management.
• Conduct regular site visits to provide operational support.
• Manage HR activities including recruitment and training compliance.
• Act as the main liaison between Avantor and customers.
• Support the Sales team during bids and contract renewals.
• Develop and maintain site SOPs and risk assessments.
• Manage budgeting and inventory metrics.
• Work in a flexible environment with core hours Monday to Friday.

Requirements

• Experience in managing teams in an operational environment.
• Background in scientific warehouse/materials handling operations preferred.
• Strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management.
• Experience with SOPs, SOWs, SLAs, and risk assessments.
• Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification.
