Overview

The Ice Cream Senior Manager for Employee/Labor Relations will lead various projects on the Industrial and Employee Relations agenda for North America, focusing on managing and enhancing employee relations across our supply chain.

In Short

  • Lead strategy on people engagement in factories across the US and Canada.
  • Utilize knowledge of employee and labor relations trends to develop people-focused policies.
  • Serve as chief strategist in contract negotiations with employee organizations.
  • Mentor and guide HR managers on employee relations issues.
  • Act as subject matter expert on investigations and employee relations matters.
  • Develop long-term labor plans based on internal and external factors.
  • Partner with HR Leadership to connect broader HR agenda to factory needs.
  • Drive action and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Lead local and global auditing implementation as prescribed.
  • Represent North America on the Global Labor Relations Committee.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Labor Relations, Human Resources or related field.
  • 8+ years of HR experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
  • Experience in developing labor and employee relations strategy.
  • Deep knowledge of employment law & compliance best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with audiences of all levels.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Curious and innovative mindset to adapt to changing business needs.
