Labor & Employee Relations Senior Specialist - Remote

Overview

The SPLC is seeking a Labor & Employee Relations Senior Specialist who is passionate about social justice!

In Short

• Provide counsel to management and employees on employee relations issues.
• Conduct investigations and resolve employee complaints.
• Participate in grievance meetings and provide recommendations.
• Build credibility with employees and management.
• Develop employee recognition and retention programs.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training efforts.
• Uphold SPLC's values of justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion.
• Perform exit interviews and summarize investigations.
• Work under general office conditions with some travel.
• Report to the Labor & Employee Relations Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum three years’ experience in human resources.
• At least two years’ experience in a unionized environment.
• HR certification(s) preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
• High School Diploma or GED.

Benefits

• Exempt role with a minimum starting salary of $71,682 annually.
