Overview

Twilio is looking for a new Partner Development Manager (PDM) for the GTM Sales Team at Twilio Japan. The right person for this role is a person who can deliver the results by influencing stakeholders both internally and externally.

In Short

  • Establish and manage relationships with assigned partners.
  • Develop mid-long range partnership visions and strategies.
  • Align goals and strategies with partners to exceed targets.
  • Manage sales leads generation and pipelines.
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with key stakeholders.
  • Drive innovative approaches for assigned partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for partnership agreements.
  • Onboard and enable newly joined partners.
  • Represent partners' brands and values within Twilio.
  • Approximately 25% travel anticipated for in-person connections.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of high-touch sales experience.
  • Understanding of cloud technology and SaaS, PaaS industries.
  • Proven track record in managing revenue and sales pipelines.
  • Strong relationship building with stakeholders.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese.
  • Experience in CPaaS/CCaaS and telecommunications.
  • Familiarity with SMS/Message/Voice/Phone/Video technologies.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute actionable plans.
