Overview

This role is for an IT Engineer 1 to join the global IT team at Turnitin, ensuring employees have the technical support and resources they need.

In Short

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 helpdesk support for employees.
• Manage IT ticket queue and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Administer onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
• Collaborate with the finance team for vendor payment processes.
• Work with the global IT team to resolve complex issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Engage in continuous personal/professional development.
• Participate in IT projects to improve enterprise systems.
• Occasional travel to oversee hardware management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 2-3 years of IT experience.
• 3+ years of computer-related technical support experience.
• Proficiency in macOS and Windows operating systems.
• Basic networking skills including TCP/IP.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware.
• Experience with SSO platforms such as Okta.
• Knowledge of productivity software like Google Workspace.
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with ticket systems like Jira Service Management.
