Overview

The Leave Administration Specialist position at Trüpp plays a key role in administering employee leaves for our clients located throughout the U.S. This position is responsible for assessing, adjudicating, tracking, and monitoring leave of absence claims.

In Short

  • Act as the primary point of contact for LOA questions, concerns, and challenges for clients and their employees.
  • Manage and process LOAs including FMLA, state and local non-FMLA leaves, ADA, and personal leaves.
  • Provide tracking and administration through the full cycle of employee leaves.
  • Ensure requests are responded to in a timely manner and that leaves are managed in accordance with client policies.
  • Assist employees in getting back to work and receiving appropriate benefits.
  • Inform client contacts of employee status to assist them in maintaining productivity.
  • Authorize return-to-work using physician documentation and departmental ability to comply with restrictions.
  • Utilize leave of absence tracking system to manage leaves.

Requirements

  • One years’ work experience in HR, leave administration or related field.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration highly preferred.
  • Requires strong proficiency in the use of a variety of software including Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Sufficient working conditions, including high-speed internet and an environment for phone calls.
