Marketing Attorney - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and business-oriented Marketing Attorney to support our fast-moving, high-growth Marketing Team. This role will be responsible for administering and guiding the legal review of a wide range of marketing initiatives, with a particular focus on insurance regulatory compliance, consumer protection, insurance advertising, and privacy matters.

In Short

• Review, revise, and approve marketing assets for compliance with regulations.
• Serve as a primary legal contact for marketing teams.
• Help define and refine internal policies for compliant marketing practices.
• Assist in drafting and negotiating marketing-related agreements.
• Monitor regulatory developments in insurance marketing.
• Act as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders.
• Develop internal resources to scale compliant marketing practices.
• Partner with privacy counsel on customer data use.
• Support the review of high-visibility brand campaigns.
• Help design and administer unique marketing campaigns.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in advertising, marketing, or consumer protection law.
• JD and licensed to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Prior in-house experience supporting a marketing team preferred.
• Excellent judgment and collaborative working style.
• Deep understanding of legal and regulatory marketing frameworks.
• Experience with social media, digital, and email campaigns is a plus.
