Overview

The Workday System Administrator serves as the technical subject matter expert for Workday HRIS, responsible for system administration, optimization, reporting, analytics, and user support.

In Short

  • Responsible for day-to-day system support including setup, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Ensures effective use of the Workday system by identifying business needs.
  • Leads the implementation and maintenance of Workday HRIS modules.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams on system-related projects.
  • Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Develops and generates system reports and dashboards.
  • Participates in Workday Community and networking events.
  • Communicates status and challenges to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Assists with other tasks and projects as assigned.
  • Ensures data security measures are implemented and enforced.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 3 years’ experience in Workday Core HCM and related areas.
  • Expertise in configuring and optimizing Workday HRIS systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in managing Role Based Security and User Based Security.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and key HR concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
