Foreclosure and Legal Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Foreclosure and Legal Specialist is responsible for providing process and analytical support for all accounts in foreclosure or legal action, partnering with the legal department and internal teams to assist in the foreclosure or legal process.

In Short

• Manage a pipeline of Active and Suspended Foreclosure or Legal loans.
• Document all loan level efforts into the foreclosure workstations.
• Coordinate with attorneys to maximize efficiency and timelines.
• Review legal documents for execution.
• Maintain knowledge of State, Federal, County and City regulations.
• Assist with processing sale proceeds and insurance claims.
• Work with attorneys on litigation and contested foreclosure matters.
• Complete timely processing of activities and emails.
• Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with investor and insurer guidelines.

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in real estate and/or foreclosure.
• 3+ years’ experience in foreclosure and legal writ of possession process.
• 2+ years’ experience as a GSE working investor.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and Adobe.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Knowledge of FHA, GNMA, FNMA, FHLMC, VA, USDA guidelines.
• Goal-oriented with sound business decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of Temenos and FICS preferred.
