Overview

The Business Development Associate will assist the Business Development team and key functions of TrueScripts in driving organizational growth. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals aspiring to advance into a Business Development role.

In Short

  • Assist in the development of a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Shadow senior Business Development team members during client interactions.
  • Learn company programs, products, and services.
  • Help identify leads and arrange appointments for senior team members.
  • Join sales training to develop sales skills.
  • Maintain regular contact with prospective clients.
  • Respond to broker inquiries and provide product information.
  • Practice sales pitches and get mentor feedback.
  • Work with Marketing to create new materials.
  • Travel in support of sales and client visits as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a sales environment required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiasm for sales and continuous learning.
  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles.
  • Excellent listening and questioning abilities.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments.
  • Flexibility and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
