Our client, a forefront leader in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager (Plant & Business Development) to join the ambitious team in Lithuania. The job is hybrid with 4 working days on site + 1 working day remote.

Drive plant operations to ensure the achievement of production targets and quality standards.
Lead business development initiatives, exploring new markets and opportunities for product category expansion.
Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Manage and develop a high-performing team, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align objectives and streamline business processes.
Prepare and manage the plant budget, optimizing resource allocation for maximum profitability.
Navigate the competitive landscape, adapting strategies to maintain our market leader position.

Requirements

Proven experience in a general management role within the manufacturing sector.
A strong leader with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes and efficiency optimization.
Strategic thinker with a solid track record of delivering growth and operational excellence.
Working knowledge of business finance and performance metrics.
Fluency in both Lithuanian, English and Russian (basics).
Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
