Corporate Paralegal - Remote

Overview

TransGrid Energy is a renewable energy company focused on investing, developing, owning and operating utility-scale battery energy storage systems and PV projects. The Corporate Paralegal will support the company’s renewable energy operations by managing corporate governance, regulatory filings, contract administration, and compliance initiatives.

In Short

• Prepare and maintain corporate records for multiple project and holding companies.
• Assist with drafting, reviewing, and tracking a wide range of commercial agreements.
• Support contract lifecycle management, including monitoring key dates and obligations.
• Coordinate and support due diligence processes for project financings and partnerships.
• Manage organization and tracking of documentation for renewable energy projects.
• Assist with compliance tracking related to regulations affecting project development.
• Liaise with outside counsel and internal stakeholders for legal initiatives.
• Support risk management and legal document archiving.
• Assist with special projects and research as needed by the legal team.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-accredited program.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a corporate paralegal, preferably in the energy sector.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth company or in-house legal department preferred.
• Familiarity with renewable energy project documentation is a plus.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
