Overview

TransGrid Energy is seeking an ambitious and passionate Senior Manager of Interconnection who will play a crucial role in leading the company through the necessary transmission and interconnection processes of utilities and ISOs.

In Short

• Manage the transmission/interconnection process and consultants.
• Advise development team on project siting and transmission planning studies.
• Manage interconnection applications and modifications for various ISOs.
• Act as a liaison with ISOs and manage the interconnection process.
• Lead and supervise consultants on interconnection studies.
• Supervise document development for capacity markets.
• Participate in regional planning meetings.
• Lead pre-operational activities and project registration.
• Support project teams with commissioning and testing plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of utility-scale energy project development experience.
• Proven experience in managing project teams.
• Deep understanding of ISO/RTO processes and tariffs.
• Experience in negotiating tariff agreements.
• Ability to summarize interconnection processes for diverse audiences.
• Experience in leading negotiations for interconnection agreements.
• Strong relationship management skills with utilities and consultants.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities.
