• Lead the interconnection process of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects.
• Build plant specific power flow models critical to successfully guide projects.
• Ensure compliance for reactive power requirements.
• Understand inverter behavior and impacts on electrical transmission systems.
• Maintain knowledge of relevant utility tariffs and technical standards.
• Participate in technical discussions with utilities/ISOs.
• Research and evaluate regulations and new technologies.

Requirements

• 5 or more years’ experience in a similar role.
• Technical background in transmission systems planning or generator interconnection.
• Knowledge of transmission systems and long-term transmission plans in the US.
• Proficiency in power flow software.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
