Overview

The Senior Technical Support Engineer will be part of the Customer Support and Service organization, ensuring the success and satisfaction of customers utilizing TraceLink's software solutions.

In Short

  • Analyze and resolve engineering and integration issues for enterprise customers.
  • Identify networking problems using diagnostic tools.
  • Troubleshoot using web applications, UNIX, and scripting languages.
  • Test repaired items for proper operation.
  • Manipulate technical formats like XML, EDI, IDoc, and CSV.
  • Log enhancements and defects into tracking systems like Jira and Salesforce.
  • Provide expertise on data interfaces.
  • Collaborate with customers and departments to resolve issues.
  • Contribute to standard procedures for troubleshooting.
  • Create and revise user manuals and instructions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in technical support and troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-level software applications.
  • Proficient in UNIX, scripting, and data parsing.
  • Experience with XML, IDoc, CSV, and EDI formats.
  • Familiarity with Java APIs and B2B technologies.
  • Experience with Unix shell and Perl scripting.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience with AWS resources.
