Security Engineer | Web Application Penetration Testing - Remote

Overview

The Offensive Security Engineer will perform offensive security campaigns for our clients to improve their ability to protect, detect and respond to known adversaries. This position will reduce cyber risk by uncovering vulnerabilities and weaknesses in our client’s enterprise cyber environment through coordinated ethical hacking and penetration testing scenarios.

• Perform client penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities.
• Conduct WebApp penetration tests across various products.
• Generate reports detailing testing results and recommendations.
• Develop scripts and tools to automate processes.
• Provide recommendations on security measures for sensitive data.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends and movements.
• Contribute to Trace3’s brand in the Security community.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Certifications like OSCP, eCPPT, or equivalent are a plus.
• Experience with Unix/Linux/Mac/Windows operating systems.
• 2-3 years' experience with penetration testing tools.
• Knowledge of network penetration testing and web application assessments.
• Experience with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
